The author of the play Svyatoslav Rybas believes in the cyclical nature of history and is looking for parallels between the events of a century ago and our time. Historian, writer, author of the story "A Mirror for a Hero", his biography of Pyotr Stolypin, published in the series "Life of Remarkable People" in 2014, has become a real bestseller. A play based on the book - specially for the Moscow Art Academic Theater. M. Gorky - Svyatoslav Rybas wrote together with his daughter Catherine.

Director Alexander Ivanovich Dmitriev continues the line of historical performances that he successfully stages in the theater. The main role is played by Eduard Flerov, a graduate of LGITMiK, a famous film actor and dramatic actor who played in such significant performances of the Praktika Theater as A Play about Money, Celestials, and Hairdresser.
